Family Feeling Proud For This 80-Year-Old Woman Who Graduated From University With 3.69 GPA – Video

An 80-year-old woman graduated Friday from Alabama A&M University, spreading out her inspirational story. Donzella Washington has been on a quest to achieve a lifelong goal and wants to inspire others to never stop setting their own goals and work toward it.

That’s not the end of her higher education journey. It was only because she wanted to go back to school that she started this journey all over again, that was something she still wanted to accomplish,Washington said.

That’s just crazy at this point, you know, the publicity that she is getting was never thought of. Washington is not graduating for attention with the degree of her bachelor at the age of 80. Learning is fun. Since transferring to Fultondale, since her husband lost his life, to be with her mom, Washington set her sights on a degree in social work, got a scholarship and didn’t look back.

she wants to encourage young people and even adults to let them learn about that period, because she is now 80 but says she has no idea about what 80 actually feels like, Washington said. It’s always never too late to accomplish your dreams. She also says that if You have a vision, end this dream please and shout to your inner self that You can. You have to just believe in yourself and God will be with you to help you.

She is such a wonderful example of loyalty, dedication, perseverance, commitment, and excitement, and she is showing it all, Kimberly Washington’s daughter said. It was love and appreciation that I learned most and I enjoyed myself with those that you love more. I’m just happy that they’ve met their goal. This time, they let me know that it can. Congress has thought that it could. She’ve taken voice lectures at the college in her thirties to address serious stuttering.

I feel like I will be able to achieve and earn my master’s degree with the grace of Christ who got me this far,she added. Magna cum laude graduated from Washington and plans to volunteer in places like nursing homes. She and her husband have fostered nearly 30 children. Now Washington wants to inspire others with the message that it is never too late to make your dreams come true.
