Michelle Obama not only loves her rest from the duties of being the first wife, but she is now enjoying her life as an empty nester with her daughters far at college Malia and Sasha Obama leave the house.

Although Malia is a sophomore at Harvard University, Sasha has just graduated from high school and started classes at Michigan University The former first lady and mother of two can not be more pleased about her girls being off at college, leaving her with sufficient time to reflect on herself and her children.

Michelle had a sit down chat with Oprah Winfrey on her Oprah’s 2020 Vision: Your World in Motion Tour on Saturday, and now that they’re far she opened up about life at home.

She said parenting has taken a toll on her because it took a lot of personal space and energy,.

But now that the children are gone, she can concentrate all that attention on herself.

While paying more attention to herself, the lack of the children often makes room for Michelle to spend more time with her husband as she is the only one remaining, Barrack and the pets.

Michelle said now that they managed to escape the hard times they endured together, now she can look at her husband and remember him as the man she loved.

It’s been almost three decades since the pair were together, and their passion for each other still continues to grow stronger. They marked its 28th anniversary last October.

Each took to their Instagram accounts for years spent together to support each other.
