2 years ago, when Alexis Skyy gave birth before giving birth, she was not sure that her baby was going to do it. Alaiya Grace celebrated her 2nd birthday with the help of her beloved mom.
Alaiya suffers from hydrocephalus and had to receive a shunt placed in her brain after birth at just one pound. The toddler also receives speech therapy, physical therapy and stimulation to help him develop and grow.
On Saturday, Alexis took advantage of social media to wish his daughter the happiest of birthdays. In an adorable mother-daughter photo session also shared on her Instagram page, she wrote in caption.
“Would you like to watch this, by the grace of God My little butterfly exceeded all expectations! My baby is officially 2 years old today !! Finally talk and so close to walking My baby struggled so hard and went through so many trials and tribulations just to get here !! Through all the brain treaments and so many sleepless and tearful nights for mom I stayed strong for you. There have been so many times that I collapsed watching her go by so much at such a young age !! If it weren’t for you, my family and loved ones know where I would be right now !! “
The reality star went on to say, “You are literally my reasoning for everything !! I am so grateful and so grateful for the extent to which she came lord. I really never knew what true love looked like until 2 years ago !! The unconditional love of a mother, an indescribable feeling yet 1 of the best feelings in the world !! My miracle child, My heart beats, My little diva is officially 2 years old today.
